Receiving a Guarantee from Emporio BEDS

Emporiom Beds S. L., trading as Emporio BEDS, represents a number of top quality manufacturers in the mattress and bedding business.  They maintain the highest standards of craftsmanship, design and materials across their product lines, which enables Emporio BEDS to offer you guarantees on any of their products.  This offer is commensurate with each manufacturer’s commitments to us.   In the unlikely event that a defect arises through proven material failure or faulty workmanship and providing this guarantee is active, then Emporio BEDS guarantees to make- good or replace the items in question on the basis agreed with the manufacturers.   Obviously these vary but an example guarantee is shown in our Terms and Conditions section of this website, see TERMS AND CONDITIONS The guarantees vary from 1 year to 10 and after 2 years our percentage contribution to the cost of  remedial action steps down from 100% to zero. Caring for your bed, mattress and bedding Emporio BEDS wants you to have the peace of mind that such a guarantee brings.  In order to ensure that it is available and indeed, in order to sustain the quality of the products and your pleasure in a good night´s sleep, we suggest you follow the recommended behaviour from the manufacturers.  We outline the most important of these actions here so that you have this information readily to hand. Something Extra We recommend you to consider a few extras before first using your bed for the first time.  A little extra care in your waking hours will ensure that your bed really takes care of you while you sleep.  Clients often have different tastes in bed linen, pillows, toppers and protectors.  We just ask that you consider these items and make informed decisions about them. Settling In Your new bed may be perfect or it may seem a little strange at first.  Remember your old bed may have been past its best, give your body a chance to adjust to the new levels of comfort and notice when you benefit from a deeper sleep.  The balance of mattresses, bases and beds may be different but we will only let you buy complementary sets that also meets your expected comfort levels. Mattress Protection We strongly recommend that you protect your mattress with a natural fiber mattress cover, under your bed lined, to avoid stains and to promote hygiene.  This will keep your mattress looking pristine for years to come. Turning and Rotating your Mattress It is important that you turn your mattress regularly to aid even filling settlement and to prolong the mattress life.  We recommend that you turn your mattress from side to side and end to end weekly for the first four months.  There after it should be rotated with the seasons.  In the case of a No Turn mattress it is sufficient simply to rotate the mattress seasonally to ensure equal wear and tear.  We recommend that you seek assistance to turn the mattress.  Apart from the risk of injury to yourself, you also risk damaging the springs should you bang, bend or roll the mattress.  This would invalidate your guarantee. Airing Your Mattress Air your mattress on a weekly basis – simply leave the bed linen turned back for a few hours each time and allow air to circulate around and through the mattress. Cleaning Clean your bed every other month with a soft brush to keep it clear of dust and fluff – avoid the use of a vacuum cleaner as this may unduly disturb the upholstery fillings.  Treat stains and spills immediately using dry towels or paper towels.  Do not use detergents or chemical cleaners as this may bleach or damage the fabric. Usage In order to maximize consistent shape and support around the perimeter of your mattress please avoid regularly sitting on the edge in the same position for long periods.  Please do not stand on your bed or allow children to treat it as a trampoline – this applies equally to the mattress and divan base.
